A place of divinity always gives us inspiration…
As a kid, the designer has got her inspiration when she first saw a series of mural paintings inside the viharn of Wat Suthat Thep Wararam, where Buddha image of Phra Si Sakyamuni is residing. The love and bond between the artist and this spiritual space grew even more when she had a chance to revisit the place as an adult. She couldn’t resist the true beauty of the 200-year-old mural paintings which depict the story of the Lord Bhuddha and the mythical legend of the Himmaphan forest, drew by Thai art and craft masters in ancient time. The 2 dimensional idealistic arts have inspired the artist to create her own interpretation of the 3 dimensional products using simple and beautiful forms of animals, flowers and components of trees that seen portrayed on the mural arts. With today’s production technology, skills and craftsmanship, the artist designed this functional “Secret Garden Collection” as a series of contemporary home decorations where the beauty of design blends perfectly with Thailand’s cultural heritage.
